Gift a bench of Honor at the Nature Center in Memory of a Loved One.
A bench of honor donation provides the opportunity to honor a friend or loved one and offers a comfortable place for Nature Center visitors to relax and enjoy the preserve’s grounds, gardens, and tranquil ambience.
The hardwood benches are made through environmentally friendly forestry and woodworking processes. A 7-inch wide by 3-inch-high plaque of dedication will be attached to the bench and will be installed in an area on the grounds determined by Nature Center staff in consultation with the donor. Bench contributions are tax deductible for the non-tangible part of the donation. Proceeds support the Nature Center’s mission and educational and conservation goals.
Dedication Level & Cost
- Four-foot Teak Bench with Bronze Plaque
- Bench costs $2,000 and a $1,000 donation to the Nature Center
- Five-foot Teak Bench with Bronze Plaque
- Bench costs $3,000 and a $1,000 donation to the Nature Center
- Six-foot Teak Bench with Bronze Plaque
- Bench costs $4,000 and a $1,000 donation to the Nature Center
